Training activities in the RHeaDI Firearm Injury Prevention Supplement will be tailored to trainee background and interest and focused on (1) increasing nurse research capacity in firearm injury prevention; (2) addressing disparities in firearm injury and health sequelae associated with firearm violence exposure and firearm injury itself; and (3) producing and promoting the implementation of scientific solutions that have been shown to reduce gun violence.
